Cancellation Policy

If you are reading this policy it means you are a customer who has received an invoice for work done, or for work about to commence.

We have provided you with a quote in writing, either by email for small tasks, or with a formal proposal that you have agreed to by signing a contract.

In the case of a signed proposal, we have agreed to the terms of payment in a separate legally binding contract. Please refer to that document for the terms and conditions of the agreement, which supersedes the cancellation policy on this page.

Due to the nature of the work we are doing for you, it is not possible to issue refunds after payment has been received except in the cases described in this document.

As our customer, you have the power and ability to enter into this contract on behalf of yourself, your company or organisation. If you have entered into an agreement with us on behalf of your company or organisation without the authority to do so then you are personally liable for all costs.

You agree to provide us with everything that we need to complete the project or task including text, images, fonts and other information as and when we need it, and in the format that we ask for. You agree to review the work, provide feedback, and sign-off approval in a timely manner and are bound by any deadlines that we set together. You also agree to keep to the payment terms set out in this document.

We have the experience and ability to perform the services you need and we will carry them out in a professional and timely manner. We will endeavour to meet all the deadlines set but are not responsible for a missed launch date or a deadline if you have been late in supplying materials or have not approved our work on time at any stage. We will also maintain the confidentiality of any information that you provide.

For some tasks we may request full payment in advance, in which case we have already agreed to this in writing.

Advance payments are not refundable except for the following reasons:

  • We cannot complete the task for personal reasons, including illness or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • At our own discretion.

For some tasks we may request a deposit in advance. Please note that once you have booked work with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you and work may already have commenced.

Deposits are not refundable except for the following reasons:

  • We cannot complete the task for personal reasons, including illness or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • At our own discretion.

We may on occasion agree to take on work without a deposit being paid in advance.

In this case, all payments made by you after we have delivered completed work is taken as implicit acceptance and agreement that the work has been done to a satisfactory level, and no refunds will be issued.

We reserve the right to decline work after a deposit or advance payment has been made, for any reason and without explanation. In this case we will issue a full refund of the deposit or advance payment made.

If instead you wish to cancel our agreement, you may do so and we will retain the deposit or advance payment in full.

Please note that once work has commenced you are also still liable to pay for the work completed to date, in which case we will provide you with copies of all files or templates of the work up to the point of cancellation, but only after payment for the work to date has been received. In this case no refunds of any kind will be issued under any circumstances.

In the cases where deposits are made, final invoices are issued only after you have been given the opportunity to review and test the solution provided.

Payment of a final invoice for completed work is taken as implicit acceptance and agreement that the work has been done to a satisfactory level, and no refunds will be issued.
